Leiza Dolghih Named to Junior Achievement Board
Posted By Godwin Bowman & Martinez || Jul 8, 2014
Godwin Bowman & Martinez, a Texas trial and appellate firm with offices in Dallas, Houston and Plano, is proud to announce that associate, Leiza Dolghih, has been elected by the Junior Achievement of Dallas Board of Directors to serve on the inaugural Junior Achievement of Dallas Young Professionals Board.
Operating since 1954, the core purpose of Junior Achievement of Dallas is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. The Junior Achievement programs, from kindergarten through high school, focus on education, economic and youth development, and empower students to make a connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world.
During the 2012-13 program year, Junior Achievement of Dallas served nearly 42,060 students in over 2,100 classrooms with the help of more than 3,600 volunteers. More than 70% of the students served by JA Dallas are from low-income families.
The JA Dallas Young Professionals Board will help organize and promote the annual Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon – a long-standing Dallas tradition supported by many local businesses. In the past, nearly 2000 employees from more than twenty companies, such as Alcatel-Lucent, American Airlines, Deloitte, ExxonMobil, Ericsson, PepsiCo, Protiviti, and Wells Fargo came out to bowling centers throughout the year to bowl, mingle, win prizes and raise money for the Northeast Texas students.
Ms. Dolghih is a 2006 graduate of Baylor Law School. She is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, where she serves on the Judiciary Committee. Ms. Dolghih's practice at Godwin Bowman & Martinez encompasses banking and financial institution litigation, commercial litigation, energy and oil & gas disputes and labor and employment.
Founded in 1980, Godwin Bowman & Martinez is a mid-sized trial and appellate firm with a national practice. Godwin Bowman & Martinez represents Fortune 500 and middle-market industry leaders in Mission Critical Litigation® throughout the United States.
